Why do we train outside?
Sorry to do this but let's flash back to COVID lockdown times. 👀
Gyms and inside spaces were closed and people were forced to take their training outside.
For those that were taking part in group exercise, this meant heading to the local park and getting a training done together. No matter the weather.
Being outside has its well-known benefits. For example, Boost in vitamin D and stress reduction.
However, we noticed several things when we coached sessions like this during lockdown.
The community got stronger.
People were happier to "just show up".
People now spend several hours a week in fresh air.
People felt more connected to nature.
People concentrated more in the open air.
People's day-to-day now weren't just door-to-door.
People trained more consistently (better results).
This crazy proud feeling from overcoming the elements.
There is more to be added here but there is no need. I think you get the point.
Training inside is good. Training outside is better.
Now we are not in lockdown. Imagine if all those positive points continued into your regular life.
How good would you feel?
