The goal is great. But it's not the point.

Hey Fam,
Having a big goal is exciting. Signing up for something, writing it down, telling people about it. That part feels great.
Then life happens.
And the goal feels far away.
And suddenly, motivation dips and the whole thing quietly disappears.
Sound familiar?
Here's the reframe — the goal is the direction, not the destination.
What actually gets you there is the process. The small, boring, repeatable steps you take daily, weekly, and monthly.
A real example.
Coach Jaakko and his partner signed up for HYROX back in January. The goal was simple — show up, have fun, and for it not to suck. 😄
They didn't overthink it. They committed to one training session together per week. That's it.
If they missed one, they made it up. Week after week for four months.
Did they achieve their goal? Absolutely.
Did they do better than they expected? Absolutely.
Are they going again? Absolutely.
All because they focused on what they could control — the process.
Another example. This one's personal.
Right now, Coach Henry doesn't have a big end goal. Not one specific thing he's chasing.
Instead, every day he asks — What can I do today, with the time I have? Some days that's a full training session. Some days it's just making sure sleep is dialled in. Either way, that's a win. And it all adds up.
So what does this mean for you?
Pick your goal. Then forget about it for a while.
Instead, ask yourself — what's the one thing I can do this week that moves me closer?
Just one. Do that. Repeat it. Trust the process.
The goal will take care of itself.
Think you need help with this?
— Coach Henry
