Weekly Read: Enjoy the flow. Try not to over think training.

We want things to happen and just, flow…

If we think too much we will slow down and there will be no flow. Or worst case, nothing will happen at all!


This happens because we are hyper-focused on the end result. 

We can’t always control the end result.

You’ve heard the saying “control what you can control”? 😇


So let’s not overthink the result. 

 

Yeah yeh cool. I hear you.

BUT

How do we translate this to training?! 🤷‍♂️


Training is based on results… 🤦‍♂️

But this doesn’t mean we should be fixated on them all the time. 

Instead, I want you to turn your attention to discipline.


So for now, think about what you need to do to "just show up" to class. It’s far easier as you can often control what is needed to make that happen. 

Back to that quote "Control what you can control". 😇


After a few weeks, training will not become a thought at all. 

Training will just flow.

You will get results you didn’t expect because you weren’t thinking about the results. 


Funny that. 🤷‍♂️

You best believe I started to overthink this post when writing. 😂
